3. Platform, App, and Integration Data

If you authorize SterlingAI or a SterlingAI-built app to access a third-party platform, we may collect and process information made available by that platform based on the permissions, scopes, and settings you approve. This may include:

  • Google services: account identifiers, profile information, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Analytics, Ads, Search Console, or other Google data you authorize for a specific workflow.
  • Meta platforms: Facebook Page, Instagram, Ads, Business Manager, Messenger, lead form, audience, campaign, creative, insight, or account data you authorize.
  • Shopify: store profile, product, order, customer, fulfillment, inventory, discount, theme, or analytics data necessary for authorized commerce automations.
  • Klaviyo: profile, list, segment, event, campaign, flow, template, consent, and performance data necessary for authorized lifecycle marketing workflows.
  • Other business tools: CRM, project management, communication, data warehouse, advertising, ecommerce, analytics, support, and automation platform data you authorize or provide.

We only request platform permissions that are reasonably related to the product, automation, integration, or service being provided. The exact data collected depends on the app, platform, authorization scopes, client configuration, and the tasks you ask us to perform.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested information.
  • Schedule, deliver, manage, secure, and improve our consulting, implementation, training, developer app, and AI automation services.
  • Authenticate users, connect authorized accounts, operate integrations, sync data, run workflows, and provide support.

5. Google API Services and Limited Use

If a SterlingAI app accesses Google user data, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features you have authorized, to operate and secure the app, to comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by Google policy and your consent.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you have given affirmative permission, it is necessary for security or abuse investigation, it is necessary to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

6. OAuth Tokens, Credentials, and Account Access

When you connect a third-party account, we may receive OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, API keys, webhook secrets, or similar credentials. We use these credentials only to access the accounts, data, and actions you authorize.

  • Credentials are stored using reasonable technical safeguards and access controls.
  • We do not sell credentials or use them for unrelated purposes.
  • You may revoke platform access through the relevant platform account settings or by contacting us.

SterlingAI services may use AI models, automation tools, retrieval systems, and third-party processors to analyze, transform, summarize, draft, classify, route, or automate information at your request. We use such systems to provide client-requested services and do not use confidential client data to train public AI models unless expressly agreed in writing.

AI outputs may be generated from your data, third-party platform data, publicly available information, or other inputs you provide. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before using them in legal, financial, employment, health, advertising, ecommerce, customer communication, or other sensitive contexts.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We may use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, conversion APIs, and similar technologies to understand website traffic, improve our content, measure campaigns, and personalize experiences. Program name: SterlingAI SMS. If you provide your mobile phone number or opt in to receive text messages from SterlingAI, we may use SMS to send appointment reminders, service updates, follow-ups, requested information, and limited promotional communications where permitted.

  • Message frequency varies based on your relationship with us and the services requested.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message.

  • SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information, client data, platform data, logs, and integration records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve security, and support legitimate business purposes.
