Meta User Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how users can request deletion of data associated with SterlingAI apps or integrations that connect to Meta products, including Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Manager, Meta Pages, Meta Ads, Messenger, Lead Ads, and related Meta developer platform services.

SterlingAI uses Meta platform data only to provide the app, integration, automation, reporting, support, or business workflow that a user or authorized business account has requested. These instructions are provided for Meta's user data deletion requirements and should be used together with our Privacy Policy.

You can remove SterlingAI app access directly from your Facebook account settings. This revokes SterlingAI's ability to access future Meta data through that authorization.

1. Log in to the Facebook account that authorized the SterlingAI app or integration.
2. Go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
3. Open Your activity and permissions, then select Apps and websites.
4. Find the SterlingAI app or the connected app name used for your SterlingAI integration.
5. Select Remove to revoke access.
6. If Facebook asks whether to delete posts, videos, or events the app published on your behalf, choose the option you prefer.

You may also review connected business assets through Meta Business Settings if the app was authorized for a Page, ad account, Instagram account, dataset, pixel, or business portfolio.

To request deletion of Meta platform data stored by SterlingAI, email us at hello@sterlingai.dev with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request.

Please include the following information so we can locate the correct records:

• Your full name and email address.
• The Facebook profile, Facebook Page, Instagram account, Business Manager, ad account, or business name connected to the SterlingAI app.
• The name of the SterlingAI app, automation, or integration you used, if known.
• A short statement that you want SterlingAI to delete your Meta user data.

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, authority, or relationship to the relevant Meta business asset before deleting data.

When we verify a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify Meta data stored in SterlingAI-controlled systems where deletion is legally and technically possible. Depending on your integration, this may include:

• Meta user IDs, names, profile identifiers, and account connection records.
• Facebook Page, Instagram account, Business Manager, ad account, lead form, campaign, creative, or insight data that was stored for the app or integration.
• Access tokens, refresh tokens, webhook configuration records, and authorization metadata.
• Support records or app workflow data that identify the Meta account or business asset.

Removing app access in Meta settings stops future access, but it does not automatically delete every record already stored by SterlingAI. Please email us if you want stored data deleted from SterlingAI-controlled systems.

We will confirm receipt of your request and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by applicable law or Meta policy.

Some information may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting records, dispute resolution, backups, audit logs, or legitimate business obligations. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through normal backup rotation.
